It’s a New Year, and it’s off to a bang with fresh new wedding trends to delight and inspire. These beautiful styles have sparked our creativity and ignited our motivation to create unique events in 2015.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN….OR DUCHESS
One of my favorite wedding styles this year is inspired by Kate Middleton and my favorite show, Downton Abbey. Tables should be left bare and made out of a polished wood. Greenery runs down the middle of the table and is used in place of the common fabric runners we have seen in the past. Flowers hanging overhead in the place of chandeliers bring to mind lush gardens in Great Britain. Fresh florals can adorn furniture and are beautifully arranged on the tablescape to draw your eye. The perfect style for an outdoor wedding or a classy afternoon tea.

MIXED METALS
For years we have been told to pick a metal. There is Silver, platinum, gold, rose gold, gunmetal ETC. Pick one - but just one - because they don’t mix?!? Finally we are given the green light to mix away! Mixed metals are so in right now, and I am loving every minute of it. From wedding dresses and jewelry down to every detail of décor, mixing the different types of metals can be visually stunning while adding a bit of spunk.
ELEGANCE WITH FLAIR
This year brides are returning to Elegance, but adding some fun and sparkly touches along the way. Weddings in big ballrooms with gorgeous candelabras and grand floral arrangements are abundant in 2015 weddings. Dramatic and rich tasting cakes compete as the focal point with other glitzy details. Champagne tower anyone? Think Gatsby, outdoors at twilight on a beautiful Garden terrace.
